British Pattern 37 Denim trousers
Exemplary in a magnificent state of conservation with all its buttons and has not been the subject of any modern cleaning or washing and has retained its patina "uncleaned and untouched condition"
British regulatory pants "Overall Trousers, Denim", used as work, training and maneuvering clothing within the British Army during the Second World War.
Made of a sturdy green-khaki terwi denim fabric, this type of pants was intended for the soldier's daily activities: work in camps, equipment maintenance, mechanics or intensive training.
Appreciated for its resistance and comfort, this model was used in particular by Commando units, before being adopted more widely by other British units, including during the fighting in Normandy in 1944.
Denim pants being utility garments that were highly requested during the war, copies preserved in such a state of conservation are now particularly difficult to find.
