This type of B-3 dagge was introduced around September 1942, and this copy is one of the very first productions.
The copies stamped "⩚B2" have long raised questions, the origin of this marking having remained unknown and subject to much speculation.
It was only when some documented evidence was unearthed by Robert Wilkinson-Latham that a formal link could be established with Wilkinson Sword, confirming that it is a property and/or inspection mark "⩚B2".
This inspection mark is usually found on B-2 dags, which makes this type of model particularly RARE.
Beautiful copy presenting a blade in excellent condition with a partially blurred surface treatment, as well as a homogeneous patina testifying to its use
