Cap Badge "Queen's Royal Regiment"
The 1/5th, 1/6th and 1/7th "Queen's" landed in Normandy on June 8, 1944 with the 131st Infantry Brigade of the 7th Armoured Division.
They then participated in the violent fighting around Caen and Villers-Bocage.
