General Eisenhower's message to the Allied forces – June 6, 1944

Original period document released by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force on the eve of the Landing.

This message, addressed by General Dwight D. Eisenhower to the soldiers, sailors and aviators of the Allied expeditionary force, is now known as the "Order of the Day".

Authentic copy, in the right format, with printed facsimile signature of Eisenhower.

The document has its period folds as well as small traces on the four corners, probably related to an old fixation or presentation, without having deteriorated or weakened the copy.
