Liner size 7 1/4 dated 1940 and made by T.T.C. (Teddy Toy Company Ltd)

From 1940 with the massive loss of equipment in France and Dunkirk, the British army had to recover, repair and reuse lots of helmets

Some MkII damaged in the factory or in combat could be reconditioned, painting again, change the liner and the addition of holes in the chin strap attachment

Helmets that did not meet military specifications were downgraded to grade 2 helmets and assigned to various organizations and civil defense
