En savoir plusPoncho "Groundsheet Cape" camouflaged by J. Weinberg Ltd and dated 1939
This type of poncho or cape was used both as protection against rain, as a floor cloth (groundsheet) and could also be used to form a field shelter by connecting several canvases together by metal eyelets.
Made of waterproof canvas with its characteristic green and brown camouflage, could be worn as a cape thanks to its button closure and its wide protective collar.
Copy in a good state of conservation, complete with all its buttons and with a still flexible canvas
